Observation

110-300-0331 (1)(b) for allegation regarding teacher tossing a chair in a hostile and/or angry way, department will close as “valid” as there is more evidence than not that teacher did toss the chair in an angry and/or hostile way as collected via interviews with staff and parents whom witnessed the incident in person or in video. 110-300-0331 (1)(c) for allegation regarding teacher scratching the child; the department will close as “not valid” as there is not sufficient evidence to determine that child was scratched as a form as discipline. 110-300-0331(1)(d) for allegation regarding teacher verbally making negative remarks about a child the department will close as “not valid” as there is not sufficient evidence to determine that teacher made these statements. 110-300-0331(1)(g)(ii) for allegation regarding possible restriction of child movements, department will close as “valid” as there is more evidence than not that some form of child’s movement was restricted as collected via interview with staff whom witnessed the incident on video and by director whom had the alleged staff sign a copy of the WAC section discussing physical restraint after also viewing the video.
